Ahhh, moving season! I always do loads of photo shoots right before people leave me forever (crying in my hankie). Lindsey and I have had mutual friends for years, she’s taken photography classes from me and even joined me for the Worldwide Photo Walk, but we never sat down to chat one on one until her photo shoot. Darn it! Another potential BFF that is leaving me! Seeing someone with a passion for travel, hardworking, and kind was a balm to my soul. And I am not the only one. I had not one, but two, of their friends contact me to purchase them surprise canvases of their photos. This is a record for me. What fantastic people and I hope our paths cross again.

I’ve known Peggy for years.  She was a photography student of mine and is a very active member of the Vicenza community.  What a joy to know her with her zest for life and change.  Just before moving back to the United States I was privileged enough to be able to photograph Peggy, Gary, and the kids in Marostica.  Between Jackson chasing birds in the piazza and Patrick’s model poses, we had loads of laughs and a wonderful day. Buon viaggio, Crippens!

I met Erica through a friend (the gorgeous and funny Jenny) and I knew we would hit it off immediately.  She LOVES photos and puts a lot of time and effort into her shoots…. and it certainly shows in the quality of images.  I can’t tell you enough how much I love the outfits that she chose for the family.  Ah-mazing!  Usually I send out a Pinterest page for dressing inspiration before a photo shoot, but Erica didn’t need any of that.  Ava was a dream in her photo shoot (even though she certainly did not want to smile) and I love the serious, tranquil quality of her photos.  This was also right before Erica and Lucas announced their pregnancy with a new little bundle of love!  What a joyous time and what a truly wonderful morning I spent with these lovely people.

Finally, oh, finally, I can photograph little Eva!  I feel that Christina and Luca have been in my life forever, but in all actuality it’s only been three years.  But, oh the three years have been full of life!  First, we had their gorgeous engagement photos, then the lovely wedding in Creazzo with the amazing agriturismo reception in Arcugnano.  Then, this year, we have their pregnancy shoot in Borghetto and finally, we have little Eva! I’m so grateful to be chosen as their photographer and they will always have a special place in my heart.  Enjoy their lovely photos….

It always makes me so sad when I meet such a great couple right before they move away.  For the few months I got to know Allie and Rowdy, I truly enjoyed their company.  Allie and I were able to have some great coffee dates and enjoy some laughs.  What a fantastic couple!  I know that they will be very happy and successful in Virginia.  To some of my favorite people: Buon Viaggio and in boca al lupo!
