The Vidrini Family

What a joy to meet such a wonderful family!  Skipping a bit of school to do some early morning photos, I enjoyed getting to know two young adults so firmly entrenched in both the Italian and American cultures.  And really, aren’t they just gorgeous??

The Stitzel Family

You can truly tell how much this family enjoys being together (check out the last image).  Though there was some grumbling off stage, they were all there at 8:00 am on a Saturday with smiles, great attitudes, and joyful teasing.  With Miranda and her brothers reunited again for the holidays, they were willing to get up early (an electrical outage was scheduled for 5:00-8:00am).  Right after the shoot was over, they headed out to Rome on a family trip.  I don’t often get people willing to do early morning shoots and so it was such an exciting morning for me.  And the fog added a romantic touch to the images.  Thanks so much, Jeff and Maria, for such a great morning.

Aubree {7 days}

I took Erica and Lucas’ photos last spring right after Erica found out she was pregnant. Ava and I had a great time together at Parco Querini and it was so lovely to spend time with a family that enjoys photography.  I was thrilled to take the photos of Aubree when she was born.  Have you ever seen such adorable props?  Amazing.  Seriously!  Ava loves Aubree so much and spent her time helping Aubree or in my lap as I took photos of the baby.  What a great day!  And I am so glad to meet such a lovely family and have a new walking partner and neighbor.

The Stacey Family

The night before this shoot, the Stacey family went on a last minute shopping spree and got outfits to match their smiles.  What joyful people!  We went to all my favorite spots for this shoot and they were up for anything.  I enjoyed hearing their stories and enjoyed the morning with them.  Spending time with people who love and value photography is always a pleasure.

The Miller Family

I love this family.  No, seriously, I love this family so much!  I met James when he was just a few days old and took his newborn photos.  (Check out the photo of James carrying the bucket we used in his newborn photos.  Absolutely precious!)  Now he is three years old!  That’s five photo shoots, one cake smash, lots of props, and many adorable outfits.  James always looks like a fashion plate.  Now, seriously, doesn’t he look like this is a shoot for Baby Gap?  Adorable.  This year I was able to also take an extended family photo with James’ grandparents.  I love grandparent shoots!  And my favorite photo is the one of Cari and her mom.  I wish I had that photo of me and my mom…. but who would take it?  Thanks, Miller family, for letting me in your life for this many years.
